Service Area
Queens runs from waterfront bungalows to high-rise co-ops, and we handle water, fire, and mold across all of it.
Local Knowledge
Queens is one of the most varied housing markets in the country, and the restoration work reflects it: attached homes and two-families across the center of the borough, prewar garden co-ops in Jackson Heights, detached houses in Bayside and Whitestone, and the low, flood-prone waterfront of Howard Beach and the Rockaways. We tailor the job to the building, not a one-size template.
What We Do in Queens
Much of Queens is attached two-family homes with finished basements, and Ida in 2021 showed how fast heavy rain can fill one. We pump it out, pull wet materials, and dry the structure, not just the floor.
Water Damage in QueensBasements in attached homes often get little airflow, so moisture lingers long after a leak or flood. We contain the area, remove the mold, and deal with the moisture source so it doesn't come back, under our NY State mold license.
Mold Remediation in QueensIn attached homes and garden co-ops, smoke and soot reach neighboring units through shared walls and common spaces. We clean what can be saved, remove odor at the source, and rebuild.
Fire & Smoke in QueensSewage backups happen all over Queens, not just near the water. Heavy rain overloads the sewers inland in places like Jamaica, Flushing and Woodside, and Howard Beach and the Rockaways get storm surge on top of that. Either way it's Category 3 water, so we extract it, remove porous materials, and disinfect.
Sewage Cleanup in QueensRestaurants, retail strips and mixed-use buildings. When water or fire closes your doors, we move fast to get you reopened and keep the documentation your insurer will ask for.

Inland Flooding
Rain can now fall faster than the sewers were built to carry it. DEP recorded 2.07 inches in one hour at Central Park on July 14, 2025. More on what Ida did to Queens basements in our Queens water damage guide.
DEP’s Rainfall Ready program says New Yorkers “can expect rainfall volumes and intensities that our city’s infrastructure was not designed to capture.” That water has to go somewhere, and in a house below the street, it’s the basement. That’s how basements in Jamaica, Woodside and Fresh Meadows fill up far from the bays.
In attached houses with steps down to a basement door, the small drain at the bottom of the stairwell clogs with leaves. Clear it every fall, or a hard rain pools there and comes in under the door.
If it came up through a floor drain, report it to 311 first. To get a Queens basement pumped out and dried, the number for All Star Restoration is 646-543-2242. While you wait, here is what to do in the first hour after a basement flood.
Questions
We handle the cleanup and drying. Whether the tenant needs to stay elsewhere depends on how bad the damage is and whether sewage was involved. We will tell you plainly after the assessment.
Yes. We dry your side and document where the water came from. That record matters if your insurer goes after the neighbor's carrier.
Yes. Co-ops usually need us to coordinate with the managing agent or super for access and shared areas, and we handle that.
Yes, along with Howard Beach and Broad Channel.
Water, fire, mold, or sewage, one call starts the recovery. We show up fast and we do not leave until it is done right.
