Our Work
A look at actual All Star Restoration projects, before and after. No stock photos, no staging, just our crews' work.
Brooklyn, NY • Mold Remediation
The homeowner had no idea a slow leak from the kitchen directly above was soaking the floor below. By the time it surfaced, the entire first-floor subfloor had gone moldy.
Our crew arrived the same morning, sealed off the affected area, removed the contaminated subfloor, and completed the mold remediation in a matter of hours, so the family could get their home back fast.

Brooklyn, NY • Emergency Board Up & Tarping
A property manager called at 1:45 in the morning. Fire had gone through a restaurant in a Brooklyn commercial building and the flat roof above it was open in seven places, each a different size.
Our project manager was on site at 2:30.
The fire department wanted to hold the roof until morning so they could see everything in daylight and be sure it was safe before anyone went up. Nobody goes on a fire-damaged roof until they say so.
So he planned around it. He came back first thing in the morning with the crew, so there was no gap between the clearance and the work starting. The moment the roof was cleared, we boarded and tarped all seven openings.
A few days later a rainstorm came through. We went back up to check every tarp had held. They had.
That is what an emergency call actually looks like. Someone on site within the hour, and a crew ready the minute it is safe to work.

Marine Park, Brooklyn • Water Damage
Over a weekend, the water heater in a Marine Park home failed. A tank that fails keeps refilling from the supply line, so the water kept coming until it was shut off.
By the time it was found, the finished basement was flooded across several rooms.
The floors were tile, and tile holds up. The walls were the problem. Water had soaked into the bottom of the drywall all the way around, and when we opened the walls, the back of the drywall was already covered in mold.
We cut out every wet section along the floor, pulled the baseboards, and left the walls open so the framing could dry. Furniture and closet doors went under plastic. Because mold had already started, the affected wall areas were also treated for mold. Then air movers, dehumidifiers and a hydroxyl generator ran until the basement was dry.
A water heater leak looks small from inside the room. Most of the damage is behind the wall.

Cypress Hills, Brooklyn • Sewage Cleanup
The basement in this Cypress Hills house hardly got used. A drain pipe cracked down there, and sewage leaked for a while before anyone found it.
By then it covered the boiler room and ran down the hallway, with sewer debris across the floor. Sewage sitting in a closed basement also turns the air humid, and the walls had soaked it up well above the water line.
We bagged and removed the contaminated contents and extracted the sewage and debris. A normal flood cut would not have been enough, so in several rooms the walls came out full height. The crew treated the exposed brick and framing with antimicrobial in full protective suits, then set air movers and dehumidifiers to dry the basement.
A leak in a basement nobody uses can sit for days. Check it once a week.
