Vendor Onboarding

Paperwork ready before the emergency

Most restoration companies make you chase paperwork after the emergency. We have it ready first.

  • Certificate of insurance. Within a couple of hours of confirming the vendor relationship or the job. We can name your management entity as additional insured.
  • W-9. On request, same day.
  • Credentials. IICRC-certified technicians, fully insured.
  • Billing. Net 30 standard, and we work with you on timing where a building needs it.
  • After hours. Calls are answered by our team, not an answering service.

Response Times

What we can actually promise

Most restoration sites promise a flat response time. In New York that number is fiction, because a 2 a.m. call in Marine Park and a 4 p.m. call in Midtown are not the same drive.

Realistically: 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the hour and the traffic.

If we cannot make that window, we say so on the phone and tell you what to do in the meantime. Shutting a valve in the first ten minutes saves more than anything we do after.

A Recent Call

A Brooklyn restaurant fire, 1:45 AM

At 1:45 one morning, a manager called us about a restaurant fire in a Brooklyn commercial building. Seven openings in the flat roof.

Our project manager was on site at 2:30. The fire department held the roof until morning so they could check everything first, so he came back first thing in the morning with a crew. The moment the roof was cleared, we boarded and tarped all seven openings.

For The Super

What helps most before we arrive

Your super is usually first on site. What helps most:

  • Shut the water at the closest valve, and kill power to the affected area if the panel is safe to reach.
  • Photograph everything before anything moves.
  • Note which units are affected, including the ones below.
  • Keep tenants out of standing water if there is any chance it is a sewage backup.

Then call us. We will tell you what is coming and how long.

Documentation

What the owner or board gets

Every job produces a documentation package: daily moisture readings, photos of each affected area, equipment logs, and an estimate in the format carriers expect. If the owner or the board asks what was done and why, the answer is in the file.

For commercial buildings, see commercial water damage restoration. We also have a page for multifamily buildings, covering riser leaks and damage that spreads unit to unit.

Questions

Answers before you call

Can we set up priority response for our buildings?

Yes. For managed portfolios we arrange a direct line so your team reaches a real person the moment something happens.

Do you handle every kind of damage?

Yes, water, fire, smoke, mold, and sewage, so you have one vendor across the whole portfolio.

Your property. Our priority.

Water, fire, mold, or sewage, one call starts the recovery. We show up fast and we do not leave until it is done right.
